Judges are impartial, and award points solely on the basis of the entry that they look at, with no value attached to prior reputation or other issues. Each entry is broken down into sections and the judges allocate points for each section. The points are totaled up and the highest scoring entries are shortlisted.

A final judges deliberation meeting is conveyed in which all gathered information is scrutinized and the evaluation period begins and finally the results are announced to the winners. The award winners don’t know what award they have won until the night of the Award Ceremony.

Once the portfolios are collected, the judges whom are selected regarding their success in their own field within the construction industry as well as architecture, are brought together from many different cities and even countries.

When the judging panel come together, every portfolio is thoroughly examined and discussed by everyone in the related group of the judging panel. After the portfolios are reviewed, the judges’ visit to the contestants begin.
