Ciddi Home: Natural Touches in Modern Living Spaces
In our homes, kitchens are the living spaces where we spend a significant amount of our time. With the increase in time spent at home due to the recent pandemic, kitchen areas have taken on an even more important role.
Because of the intensity of time spent in kitchens and their ability to bring together all family members and close ones, they hold great significance for our interior designers and decorators in defining our projects.
In this context, while designing our kitchens, we prioritize our clients' cultural backgrounds, life philosophies, professions, general habits, and similar values. By doing so, we create a main concept for the kitchen spaces where they want to spend their time, and shape our designs accordingly.
The kitchen project brought to life in the images was conceived by taking into account all the specified values of our client. The main concept of our work was designed based on the idea of nature.
We have reflected the tranquility, colors, and feelings of nature into our kitchen, the space where we spend the most time.
We have tried to integrate nature and the interior space, especially through the use of colors and materials. The light stone gray color used on our kitchen cabinets serves as our main color. The complementary colors following our main color are reflected in our countertop and wall panel.
The natural stone material used on the countertop was chosen from the tones of nature and harmonized with the colors of the floor and cabinets, creating a sense of unity in the living space. By selecting a matte lacquer finish for the cabinet material, we aimed to create a simple, understated, and peaceful environment. The handleless system used on the cabinets further prevents clutter, reflecting simplicity and tranquility.
Another important aspect following all these details is arranging the kitchen modules according to the available space. Once the main concept was determined, we finalized our kitchen design by considering cabinet placement, module selection, and movement area dimensions, which are crucial for the kitchen user.
Following this, the lighting and accessories used are also integrated with the kitchen, standing out as small details that symbolize the living elements of nature.
