Famagusta’s Icon Pub "The Shamrock" Renovated!
We have brought the magnificent restoration work of Shamrock, one of the iconic places of Famagusta, to our pages.
The fast growth of construction and real estate industry in Famagusta started developing led by the Eastern Mediterranean University. To keep up with this strong and rapid development and to make the success permanent, it is necessary to be up-to-date in every sector and to follow the trends. We made people adopt the brand that we created under the name The Shamrock 10 years ago. However, we wanted to take it to the next level to prove itself and to make it a leading brand. For this reason, we have created a completely different space in terms of design.
We made Shamrock, which we first designed 10 years ago, with a major overhaul to remain column and beam, making it the largest and only 2-story, 6,000 m2 pub and entertainment place on the island. While doing the restoration, we prioritized the height by considering the feeling of spaciousness. Doing our best, we achieved a rapid result with steel systems and up-to-date materials for the existing concrete structure. We managed to complete all of this within 2 months.
We created a beautiful and stylish design by combining the old pub atmosphere with contemporary and modern touches with firebricks, walnut-based furniture parts, exposed concrete surfaces and black tiled glass systems. As a result of this whole process, we have created a beautiful place that includes the old, versatile and appealing to everyone.
In Shamrock, the inner parts of the bars are also made of special inox materials and furnished with antibacterial and stainless materials. In addition, we used heatingcooling and ventilation systems throughout the building. We decorated the floor of our place with exposed concrete and aged ceramics. In addition, we equipped the interior with a special television set called ‘video wall’, which we created with a combination of 9 TV screens, each of which is 55 inches. Thus, we have created a magnificent visual feast by placing giant televisions in our giantheight space. There are a total of 5 of these systems inside. This was again a first on the island.
We have also set up a separate bar on the upper floor of our venue. Besides the toilets, we also have a 9 TV set and a large fireplace on the upper floor. In addition to these, we also have a special cellar with a very large freezer.
