Sales Are Complete But Investment Opportunities Continue
As we reach the end of the first half of 2021, we wanted to evaluate the market by talking to some of the market leaders. We spoke with Ali Güler, CEO of Cyprus Constructions, who over the past few years have become well known for their projects in the Esentepe area, east of Kyrenia, and he informed us that sales of their latest project, Mykonos Homes, together with three other projects, have all been completed. Cyprus Constructions, launched its innovative project, Maldives Homes, several years ago and followed up with Mykonos Homes and Pearl Island, which have just started construction, and the Idyll project that will be completed soon. An increase in investment interest in North Cyprus and the possibility of rental income, in addition to the high-quality living spaces and services offered by the company, have all played an important part in the boost in sales. This has resulted in sales of these projects being completed.
Ali Güler explained that the systems used at Maldives Homes paved the way for investments in their other projects, once buyers saw the benefits of the systems used. He added, “Maldives Homes has been an active project for more than a year, homeowners and holidaymakers have been enjoying all the facilities provided. Maldives Homes has become popular in a way that the smaller, boutique hotels are preferred to the more crowded, larger hotels as a result of the pandemic. Homeowners have also received a good sum from the rental services and the best part is that they didn’t have to lift a finger. Our team is responsible for maintenance, cleaning, paying bills, sending payments to the owners, and making sure that tenants and holidaymakers make the most of all the facilities at the complex. It’s a win, win situation so everyone is happy.”
“Also, when we start a new project, there is a high demand in a short period of time because people know their investment is gaining in value, just like the properties in Mykonos Homes. Moreover, each project comes with better opportunities and lifestyle choices than the previous one. At ‘Maldives Homes’, we used the pool as part of the villas, similar to the hotels in the Maldives, and ‘Mykonos Homes’ were inspired by the famous Cavo Tagoo Hotel in Mykonos. In short, we are offering people the chance to own their own homes but to the standards of a 5-star hotel.”
At the end of our conversation, Ali Güler shared some amazing news by adding, “We will be launching a new, dream project soon with a refreshing concept which will include many firsts. ‘Bahamas Homes’ will be set in a beautiful location, by the sea with a sandy beach at the front. It is going to be a large project of some 380 residences spread over 60 acres of land; also located in the Esentepe area. Sales may be complete but investment opportunities continue. The systems we used at Maldives Homes will be adapted and updated at Bahamas Homes and it will be a project that is far above normal standards; where luxury, nature, and the beach will meet in the most beautiful way. The Pearl of the Mediterranean will proudly represent our country on major international real estate platforms and will be the envy of the southern European countries who have a Mediterranean coast.”
