The Netherlands Real Estate Exhibition Drew More İnterest Than Expected
The Second Home Expo was held at MECC, the famous exhibition center in Maastricht, the Netherlands, with the participation of 160 companies from 25 countries. On April 23–24, together with Propertync Media, Dörter Construction, Century 21 Island and Signature Homes, they took part in this International Real Estate Exhibition to promote Northern Cyprus.
Second Home Expo, another organization for which we are the representative of Northern Cyprus as Propertync Media, has been an event visited by Dutch investors and those who want to buy a holiday home for years. This year, as in previous years prior to the pandemic, thousands of interested visitors attended the exhibition. Pleasant meetings and effective business partnerships were established.
The Olive Court project was on the cover of the Dutch version of Propertync Magazine's Exhibition Edition, which we specially prepare for each exhibition. We shared our stand with Signature Homes, Dörter Construction, and Century 21 Island, who were at their own stands. We all had very busy days. The Dutch showed great interest, and the exhibition was fruitful for everyone.
Dörter Construction Sales Manager Ümit Uğuralp gave an interview saying that, "To be honest, we received more attention than we expected. The biggest reason for this is that the visitors compared our real estate prices with those in other countries, and we saw that most of them came back to our stands again after visiting all the places and wanted to get more detailed information. We also talked about the advantages of Northern Cyprus with pleasure. We are happy to be here.”
The Century 21 Island team was promoting projects from every region of the island to Dutch visitors.They provided information about living and investing in Cyprus to visitors who appeared to be interested in the recently popular projects in Esentepe and Long Beach. According to one of Century 21 Island's managers, Mutlu Günen, "We had the opportunity to introduce our country to many people over the course of two pleasant but exhausting days. Unfortunately, some of them had little knowledge of Northern Cyprus, but as they learned more about us and got to know us, they became more interested in investing in real estate here."
