Background

Now a Senior Associate, within two months of joining Zaha Hadid in 2004, Michele worked on winning competitions for the Glasgow Riverside Museum, the CMA CGM Head Office Tower in Marseille and the Architecture Foundation, London. He has since worked as Project Architect and Project Director on a number of international projects.

Michele studied architecture at the University of Naples and has a Master of Architecture degree from the Architectural Association (AA) in London. He is a registered architect in both the United Kingdom and Italy.

Michele has led various competition winning schemes including the design of two super tall towers and a cultural center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the Chartres Expo Centre in France. He has contributed to the design of a number of the ZHA’s product and furniture pieces such as the Flow Vase, Dune Formations shelving and the Zaha Hadid Exhibition in Padua, Italy. As Project Director, Michele led the team for the Egypt Pavilion for the Shanghai World Expo in 2010. More recently he was Project Director on the Sunland Towers and Grace on Coronation, both projects based in Queensland, Australia. Responsible for the execution of all the stages of design, Michele collaborated with the consultants and clients to ensure successful completion of the rogramme milestones. He was also the Project Director for the D’Leedon residential complex in Singapore. Completed in October 2014, the complex comprises 7 high-end 150 metre residential towers with landscape deck and gardens. Currently, he is leading project teams for a number of schemes in East Asia and Oceania, including: the City of Dreams Hotel complex in Macau; the Pangu retail and residential development in Beijing; a Documentation Centre in Phnom Penh, Cambodia; and the Cairo Expo City in Egypt.

Michele Napoli Üniversitesi’nde mimarlık okumuş ve Londra Mimarlık Birliği’nde Mimarlık üzerine yüksek lisans yapmıştır. Hem Birleşik Krallık hem de İtalya’da kayıtlı mimardır.
Michele, Malezya, Kuala Lumpur’da iki süper yüksek kule ve kültür merkezi, ve Fransa’da Chartres Expo Merkezi de dahil olmak üzere birçok ödül almış projeleri yönetti. Flow Vase, Dune Formation Shelving gibi ZHA’ya ait ürün ve mobilyaların tasarımına ve Padua, İtalya’daki Zaha Hadid Fuarı’na katkıda bulunmuştur.
2010 yılında proje Direktörü olarak Michele, Şangay Dünya Fuarı’nda Mısır Çadırı için çalışan takımı yönetti. Daha yakın geçmişte Queensland, Avustralya bazlı Sunland Kuleleri ve Taçlandırmadaki Zerafet (Grace on Coronation) projerlerinde müdürlük yaptı. Tasarımın tüm aşamalarından sorumlu olan Michele, danışmanlar ve müşterilerle ortaklaşa çalışarak programın önemli tarihlerinin başarılı bir şekilde tamamlanmasını sağladı.
Singapur’daki D’Leedon Rezidansları projesinde de Proje Müdürü olarak çalıştı. Ekim 2014’te biten proje 7 adet, 150 metre uzunluğunda, manzaralı balkonlar ve bahçelerden oluşan lüks bir rezidans komplekstir.

Şu sıralar Doğu Asya ve Avustralya-Macau’da City of Dreams Otel Kompleksi; Bejing’de ticari ve rezidans kompleksi, Kamboçya-Phnom Penh’de Belgeleme Merkezi; ve Mısır’da Kahire Expo City gibi projelerde çalışan takımları yönetmektedir.
